Building History

Originally built by Western Electric in 1970, this building was meticulously constructed to meet the rigorous engineering and design standards established by the AT&T family of companies. Western Electric’s 3000SkylineDallas facility was the first American manufacturer to win Japan’s prestigious Deming Prize for quality management. Western Electric was known for building quality and it is evident throughout the construction of 3000SkylineDallas.

The finished building proved to meet the exact needs of AT&T and Lineage Power Systems including an onsite electrical sub-station. At its peak Western Electric employed over 4,000 at the 3000SkylineDallas facility. The most recent users at 3000SkylineDallas were Western Electric, AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Tyco Power Systems, and Lineage Power Systems.
