Economic Incentives

The City of Mesquite has adopted a proactive partnership with 3000 Skyline embracing the development and agreeing to provide two major economic incentives. These incentives will significantly reduce the tax burden on 3000 Skyline tenants.
  1. A 10 year, 50% abatement of taxes
    on real property improvements.
  2. A 10 year, 50% abatement of taxes
    on business personal property.
  3. Additional incentives available
    through the city of Mesquite.
  4. Additional incentives available
    through the city of Mesquite
  5. 1% sales tax abatement available
    through the city of Mesquite
  6. Additional incentives available
    through the state of Texas


 "The City of Mesquite is embracing the new 3000 Skyline redevelopment as another step forward in Project Renewal, the long-term plan to make Mesquite one of North-Texas’ premier communities,” said Tom Palmer, Economic Development Manager. “Our commitment to 3000 Skyline is evident in the recent business incentive package and consistent with the city’s immediate goal of generating business now."
