TIA 942

The design and engineering team for 3000SkylineDallas utilized the Telecommunications Infrastructure Standard (TIA 942) as the design criteria benchmark when designing the structure, skin, mechanical, electrical, fiber, and site configuration. The TIA 942 was developed
to eliminate misunderstandings and to provide requirements and guidelines for the design, installation and construction of data centers. It is intended for use by data centers who need a comprehensive set of qualifications. 3000SkylineDallas accommodates all Tier III data center design criteria, and is
capable of meeting Tier IV design criteria if the customer requires. Corporate America’s demand for secure, robust locations to store and process critical electronic information, off-site IT operations and disaster recovery has increased dramatically over the past six years. Existing data centers, and most vacant data center properties, are struggling to keep pace with developments in technology. It is predicted that 50% of existing data centers will be obsolete (i.e. will not be able to provide sufficient power, fiber, or other operating components).
